Few days back a video went viral in which person ahead the murder of Sudhir Suri was seen distributing sweets on Jalandhar bypass of Ludhiana. Soon after video went viral, a police case was registered against the accused and it was revealed that same person also has few terrorist links.
Reportedly, arrested was identified as Kulwinder Singh who is a resident of Sangrur. He was residing in Salem Tabri and working as 'Adda Incharge' in a private bus company. The CP Kaustubh Sharma revealed that his wife is still in jail and facing trials under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) registered in Mohali in 2017.
As per latest information case is registered against Kulwinder Singh on statement by of Shiv Sena Samajwadi President Honey Bhardwaj. Police is conducting raids to arrest him but he is still absconding. It was revealed that while distributing sweets, Kulwinder was urging people to celebrate the death of Sudhir Suri. A case against him was lodged under section 295A of IPC at Salem Tabri police station on Saturday.
Another startling fact revealed was that in 2017, a terror module was busted in Mohali. During this 3 people were arrested namely including Amritpal Kaur alias Amrit, Harbinder Singh, Jarnail Singh and Randeep Singh. It was revealed during investigation that group has hatched a plan to kill members of some socio-religious organizations accused of sacrilege under the banner of Khalistan Zindabad. Kulwinder Singh’s wife also involved in the terror module busted, so police have doubts of him also having connection with terrorist groups.
