After her name appeared in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar 200-crore extortion case, Nora Fatehi is going to be the Enforcement Directorate’s witness, reports said on Wednesday.
The two Bollywood actresses including Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi were named in the case. ED suspected that Chandrasekhar had allegedly gifted Fatehi a BMW car. So, she had to appear before the probing agencies quite a few times.

Nora told agencies that she had been gifted a car, a Gucci bag and an iPhone by the conman after her wife, Leena Maria Paul, had invited her to an event in December 2020.
In a statement issued on October 14, Nora declined to be part of money laundering.
“Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being a witness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with the accused and has been called by the ED to strictly help with the investigation,” said a statement issued on behalf of Nora Fatehi.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar was named the prime suspect in the case as he had allegedly duped the wife of former Ranbaxy owner Shivendra Singh. The conman had presented himself as various government officials, tricking Aditi Singh about the release of her husband.
He had extorted as many as 215 crore till the racket was busted. Currently, about 15 FIRs are registered against Sukesh while he is held at Tihar Jail.
