India's comedy king Kapil Sharma is all set to be back on screens but this time not on TV. The Kapil Sharma Show which generally airs on Colors TV has found a new address and it's none other than online streaming giant Netflix. On Tuesday, Netflix shared the first look at Kapil Sharma's Comedy Show that was shared by the Punjab-based comedian on his social media handle. A Netflix official release said Kapil Sharma will now bring a "fresh, new and exciting comedy extravaganza to his fans around the world".
In the video shared by Netflix, Kapil Sharma can be seen shifting to a new home. In the new home, Kapil finds out that his old family members from The Kapil Sharma Show are also there namely- Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Rajiv Thakur, and Kiku Sharda. Kapil in the video says, "Ghar Badla Hai Parivar Thorey" hinting that from now on The Kapil Sharma show will be streaming on Netflix with a new concept but with the same cast.
However, after watching Kapil Sharma's comedy show first look on Netflix, fans were curious to know whether Sumona Chakravarti was part of the show or not. Sumona Chakravarti was not seen in Kapil Sharma's comedy show Netflix teaser. As a result, many speculated that Sumona Chakravarti may not be part of the show. Not only this, laughter queen Bharti was also not seen in the teaser.
At this point, Sumona Chakravarti's exit from the show is not confirmed, since only the first look has been dropped by Netflix, but a beloved artist leaving Kapil Sharma's show is not new. In the last season, Krushna Abhishek was not part of the show. Also, the Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover saga is known to all.
Netflix shared Kapil Sharma's Comedy Show teaser with the caption, "Pata hai kya, Kapil ka naya pata? Sharing the good news on our family group because.... Kapil & the gang are coming soon to Netflix!"
