Another BJP leader has now targeted the Punjab opposition over the newly enforced 'farm laws.' This time, actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol, MP from Gurdaspur has written to Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday and accused his government of fuelling farmers' protests against the farm laws.

Further in the letter, Sunny Deol has reiterated the point of Chairman of the Railway Board and asked CM to ensure that the railway tracks are cleared of the protesters so that trains services can resume across the state.

However, Sunny Deol has not met the farmers yet, has written an open letter to them asking them to accept the invite of a meeting with the Union Ministers in Delhi on November 13.

Both the letters were tweeted by the actor-turned-politician Wednesday evening.

In his letter to the CM, Deol said that the protests being held on the road and railway tracks in Punjab for over 50 days now had adversely affected the trade and commerce.

The MP said that the woolen industry, sports industry, auto parts industry, and many others were feeling the crunch due to the train blockade. He said the farmers themselves were facing problems due to these protests as they are unable to access urea, DAP, and fertilizers.
