Americans had to wait till 2nd quarter to witness the first score in Super Bowl 2024. It was Jake Moody's insane 55-yard kick that put up the first score for the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium. In the first quarter, both Chiefs and the 49ers were at 0. However, due to Mody's record 55-yard field goal that put up the first three points in favour of the San Francisco 49ers.
Rookie Jake Moody made a slice of Super Bowl history as he converted from 55 yards out - that's the longest field goal ever made in the big game. Moody has had his problems with misses this season, and in the play-offs, but that was drilled right down the middle and he's now the owner of a Super Bowl record.
