Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case took a new turn after it emerged on Tuesday that his father K.K. Singh has filed an FIR in the Rajiv Nagar police station accusing six people, including actress Rhea Chakraborty for abetment to suicide. Since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Mumbai Police had no clue and were unable to file any FIR in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
There were many questions on Sushant's family silence while entire India was asking for CBI Inquiry. Now lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput Vikash Singh who is also Ex-Addl Solicitor General has revealed many facts. As per the reports of ANI, Vikas said, "FIR registered now as the family was in shock and Mumbai Police wasn't registering FIR, but forcing them to give names of big production houses & get them involved. It was heading in a different direction.
"Patna Police was a little hesitant but Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Minister Sanjay Jha explained the matter to them and FIR was registered. We want that the matter to be investigated by Patna Police. The family has not demanded CBI investigation yet," he added.
Rhea Chakraborty and five other individuals have been booked under - IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).
