The suspicion of covering up Sushant Singh Rajput's case by Mumbai Police is getting stronger day by day. Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh on Monday released a video statement in which he accused Mumbai Police of not taking any action. As per Sushant's father, Mumbai Police was informed that Sushant's life was in danger in February but it was not taken seriously. Even after the death of Sushant, they requested Mumbai Police for an honest investigation but no FIR was registered.
However, the Mumbai police rubbished such claims. Releasing an official press release Mumbai Police said that the father of late Sh Sushant Singh Rajput released a statement saying that the family had made a written complaint to Bandra Police on February 25. It must be clarified that no such written complaint has been addressed to Bandra Police Station on that date.
"However, one Shri. OP Singh IPS, the brother in law of late Sushant Singh Rajput, had sent some WhatsApp messages to the then DCP Zone 9 regarding this matter. The then DCP Zone 9 had called Sh OP Singh and requested him that a written complaint is mandatory for any inquiry or action. However, Mr. Singh wanted this to be resolved informally, to which the then DCP Zone 9 clearly told him that it was not possible. - Shahaji Umap, DCP Operations."
Sushant Singh Rajput's family also shared the WhatsApp chats with the Bandra DCP. Sushant Singh Rajput's family released screenshots of S.O.S complaints that were sent to former DCP Bandra, Paramajit Singh Dahiya, in February this year. The messages claimed that the actor's life was in danger and that his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and family took him to a resort near the Mumbai airport on the pretext of curing him of depression.
