With the passing day, suspicion on Maharashtra government and Mumbai Police is getting deeper and deeper in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Bihar Government on Sunday sent Binay Tiwari, the IPS officer from Bihar to do a thorough investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. However, the Maharashtra State Government yet again used their power to obstruct the case.
Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey on Sunday revealed on his twitter that IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11pm today.He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw."
He also shared the condition in which IPS Officer Binay Tiwari has been staying. Pandey wrote, "ये हैं बिहार cadre के IPS अधिकारी विनय तिवारी जिनको मुंबई में आज रात में 11 बजे रात में ज़बरदस्ती क्वोरंटीन कर दिया गया.SSR केस में जाँच करनेवाली टीम का नेतृत्व करने गए थे.अब ये यहाँ से कहीं निकल नहीं सकते!@IPSVinayTiwari"

Reacting this Sushant Singh Rajput's sister questioned Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials and wrote, "What? Is this even for real? How can an officer sent on duty be quarantined for 14 Days? #JusticeForSushant"
On the other BMC released an official statement. Going by the reports of ANI the BMC said, "Patna Superintendent of Police Binay Tiwari has been quarantined as per the present guidelines for domestic arrivals at Mumbai Airport."
