The CBI has started its investigation in full swing in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The central agency got the detailed autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput on Friday. Apparently, the report is of 7 pages. The autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput has stated the cause of death is “asphyxia due to hanging”, but this report also mentions the Ligature mark on the neck of Sushant Singh Rajput. Ligature mark which is called deep mark in common language. Usually it is of U shape, which tells that the throat is tightened with a rope or something similar.
The report said that the "total length of ligature mark is 33 cm".It said that the ligature mark is more prominent and deep on the right of the neck and is absent over the backside of the neck and occipital protuberance. The report has been signed by five doctors, said that there is no evidence of hemorrhage in subcutaneous tissue and muscle and in the thyroid gland, laryngeal muscles, and para-tracheal muscles.

Interestingly, The federal probe agency also contacted the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to seek medico-legal opinion on the autopsy report of the late actor.
Over two months after Sushant was found dead at his Bandra home, the CBI team has expedited the investigation after the Supreme Court's nod for a federal agency probe on Wednesday.
