Belgium's top college Ghent University has started a course titled ‘Literature: Taylor’s Version'. According to the syllabus, students will study English literature through Taylor Swift’s songs and delve deeply into the tropes, allusions, and intertexts. The course covers her musical and literary genres, textual strategies, and how she uses her music to build a dynamic public persona, among other topics.
2) Harvard University (US)
The prestigious Harvard University of the United States is also on the list Taylor Swift courses. As per reports, the University of Harvard’s Department of English has announced a course on the singer titled ‘Taylor Swift and Her World’. Registration for the course is on for the Spring term 2025. The course that has its first session from 2023 aims to study her music, lyrics, and cultural impact.
