T-Mobile down started trending on Twitter late Monday night and Americans started complaining on social media platforms to express the difficulties they are facing. T-Mobile users across the United States reported network outages that prevented several customers from making phone calls or using other cellular services. Tracking website Downdetector.com. confirmed it and stated, 'User reports indicate Metro by T-Mobile is having problems since 9:24 PM EST.' T-Mobile down reason
T-Mobile took to its Twitter handle and wrote, "Hi, our network teams are urgently working to restore service. We do apologies for any disruptions. ^TJJones". As per Downdetector.com, T-Mobile down was witnessed throughout the day in some areas of the United States and the problem spiked when thousands were affected. The website, which tracks outages through a range of sources including user reports, showed there were more than 60,000 incidents reported. T-Mobile's help page responded to tweets from users experiencing problems saying the company would review the complaints, without providing any details on the extent or reason of the outage. The U.S. wireless carrier has been adding thousands of wireless subscribers lately, thanks to discounts on smartphones, bundled offerings, industry-low plan prices and an edge in 5G. The carrier added 927,000 postpaid phone subscribers in the fourth quarter, the highest among its peers. It is pertinent to mention here that the company is yet to reveal its official reason for the outage. However, many users then commented on Downdetector saying that they have got back the network.

A user wrote, "These service outages are getting excessive. I use my phone to clock in and out of work. I'm lucky the place I'm working at tonight has wifi or else I'd be losing hours because I wouldn't be able to clock in. I'm going to demand compensation on my bill for this."
"What’s happening? Not even an update for all your customer?" wrote another user.
