Thapad actor Taapsee Pannu will be next seen with Tahir Raj Bhasin in ‘Looop Lapeta’, which is an adaptation of the German thriller Run Lola Run (1998). The film is being directed by Aakash Bhatia and is currently being shot in Goa. The lead cast Taapsee and Tahir recently filmed a romantic scene in an open ground in a floating bed, secured by rigs and harnesses for safety. The scene had been wrapped up in a few minutes following it being shot in a residential area. The sightseers present at the location were in shock to know that a romantic shot was being filmed in an action sequence set-up.
Both actors recently shared their experience of shooting for a romantic scene to ETimes, where Taapsee shared that it was the first time she had shot a romantic scene with an action scene’s set-up - harnesses, rigs and mid-air elevation.
She added, “Had I been an onlooker, I would’ve also been fascinated to just watch it happen. My character, Savi, is practical and a no-nonsense girl. The man she’s in love with adds colour to her life and becomes the anchor she needs. It’s like a fire-and-ice combination, and when they meet, the visual has to be captured uniquely.”
Explaining further about the scene, the Pink actress said that the romantic sequences look striking, just as the rest of the visual in the film. “Shooting this scene was surreal. I’ve never done anything like this. It was aesthetically and beautifully shot. Love is the backbone of Savi’s character, and she’s trapped in a predicament to salvage her mess-ridden boyfriend,” she added.

While Tahir described how they “literally hung out and kissed”; Speaking on his character, Tahir said his character Satya is “ passionate and irreverent” and romance between him and Savi is a cocktail of both these qualities.
“When I first read the script of Looop Lapeta, Satya and Savi felt like Yin and Yang — different and yet two parts of a whole. I’ve had a great time playing out this romance on screen. It’s a roller-coaster adventure that shuttles between mad attraction and visceral implosions; precisely what makes their relationship so connected, comical and yet, relatable,” the Mardanni actor said.
Sharing a still on her Instagram handle from the romantic scene, which She and Tahir had shot recently, Taapsee wrote, “Satya ke liye, it was love at first fight. Aur main... Main bahut bhaag chuki thi. Ab bas paaon tikaana chahti thi. Life se maar khaane ki humein aadat ho gayi thi. Isiliye humne ek dusre ko hi, apna pain killer bana liya.
