The current situation of the corona has affected overseas shootings. Due to Corona 2.0, Aditya Roy Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Om’ could not start its Turkish shooting
schedule. Now, some reports claim that the Johannesburg schedule of Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Shabash Mithu’ is at risk. The team has been shooting in Mumbai’s Borivali National Park since April 2, which too
can be called off.
There is a surge in the number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra. In such circumstances, the Mumbai shoot of Shabash Mithu can be delayed on Monday. The team is all set to visit Johannesburg in the first week of May. But so far the visas of crew members have not been approved. The clouds of uncertainty are hovering over the Johannesburg shoot.
Meanwhile, a source from the set said, “Even Taapsee Pannu has not resumed the shoot. She has done the shooting for only two days. For now, the actress playing young Mithali Raj is shooting. The film is building up the character of a cricketer. For now, nothing is confirmed about Mumbai or Johannesburg schedule.”

Cricketers who have played Ranji have been cast for a dozen main roles to maintain the authenticity of the film. For Borivali National Park Shooting the camera work is handed over to the cinema camera person. But, for the Johannesburg schedule, the cameraperson from the cricketing world is hired to capture the sports moves on camera.
In the film, Taapsee Pannu is not given the exact face as Mithali Raj. As in Ranveer Singh's film '83,' he was presented with the same look as Kapil Dev, here, only Taapsee’s
skin is tanned to match Mithali’s texture and teeth dentures are used to match her teeth structure.
According to sources the hairstyle and features of Taapsee are kept original. By this, the filmmakers want to give a hint of Taapsee to the character.
