Addressing a press conference, DIG Border Range Satinder Singh said that all the 7 associates of Amritpal Singh who have completed their NSA will be brought back to Punjab, where they will be taken in remand for interrogation in Ajnala Police Station Attack Case.

DIG Satinder Singh said, "In the Ajnala Police Station attack case, an FIR number 39 was registered. NSA was imposed on 10 people; therefore, they were not arrested here. We are now investigating the case. Under the FIR number 39, we are arresting 7 people in the case. We will bring them to Punjab and carry out the investigation...These 7 people are Basant Singh, Bhagwant Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Sarabjeet Kalsi, Gurinder Pal Singh 'Guri' Aujla, Harjit Singh, and Kulwant Singh."

Satinder Singh did not answer on whether NSA on Amritpal Singh will also be lifted so that he could be brought to Punjab like his associates. DIG Singh also stated that when they will be brought back to Punjab will be revealed in due course of time as there is a long procedure like transit remand, etc.  DIG Singh confirmed that all the 7 accused will be presented in Ajnala Court.
