Trouble for Tandav web-series creator Ali Abbas Zafar and others can be seen to be increasing day by day. A four-member team headed by inspector Anil Kumar Singh reached Mumbai on Tuesday night and first visited Andheri police station of Thane, Mumbai. The same team headed by Anil visited Ali's residence to serve him notice and to question him, however, Ali's residence was locked and no-one was there.
Interacting with the media, Anil Singh said, "We have served notice asking him to appear before IO (Investigation Officer) on 27th January in Lucknow. His house was locked and nobody was there, so we pasted the notice there."
The FIR has been filed at the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on Sunday night by senior sub-inspector Amarnath Yadav. The complaint names 'Tandav' makers i.e. Ali Abbas Zafar and Gaurav Solanki, the director, and writer respectively. It also named Amazon Prime's India head of original content Aparna Purohit, producer Himanshu Krishna Mehra, and another unnamed person.
