A 15-year-old girl from Gajraula town of Amroha has alleged that Meerut-based Tantrik, along with his friends have repeatedly gang-raped her on the pretext of treating her from illness. The incident is from the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. The girl was taking the ‘treatment’ for an unknown disease from the accused.
The matter came into light after the girl managed to escape and narrated her ordeal to her mother. Later, the complaint was filed by the victim’s family at the office of the Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and an FIR has been registered, followed by the order of SSP Meerut.

SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary has ordered a case against the four accused. Meerut SSP said, “I have ordered an FIR into the matter and arrest of the culprits.”
The investigation of the case has been handed over to the Circle Officer, Arvind Chaurasia. The circle officer said, “While the FIR is being written against the accused several teams have been constituted to detain them.”
Victim’s mother said, “My daughter has been ill for the past eight months and on the advice of an acquaintance, I met Afzal Malik, a resident of Lisari Gate who promised to treat and cure my daughter within two months.”
She further said that every time she took her daughter to Malik, he with his friends – Tariq, Aslam and Kuri Zulfikar, raped the girl turn by turn. This continued till the girl managed to escape from the men and told the ordeal to her mother.

The family has also alleged that the Tantrik has made the family sell their land worth Rs 26 lakh on the pretext of making the money double and now, after taking the money, they aren’t picking up the calls of the victim’s family.
