Filmmaker Karan Johar's lawyer and 3 other people working for him have reached the NCB office in Mumbai for questioning. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday sent a notice to filmmaker Karan Johar in connection with the alleged drug party at his residence in 2019 in which several Bollywood personalities were seen in a viral video.
If sources are to be believed, after today's interrogation, the NCB will decide whether to call Karan Johar again for questioning or not. The NCB had received a complaint from Manjinder Singh Sirsa in this regard and was marked to the Maharashtra Zonal Unit. To check the veracity of the video the notice has been sent," the official said.
Another NCB official not wishing to be named told IANS that he has been asked to share the details about the party video by Friday, December 18.
However, the FSL of Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, described the white image seen in the video as a reflection of light. The presence of any type of narcotics substance was denied in the video. While giving a clean chit, FSL wrote in the report that no substance or other material like drugs is visible in the video.
