Priest of a temple at Bhagsinghpura village of Phillaur was assaulted by unidentified men who opened fire at him.
According to reports, the priest sustained three bullets and two men were involved in the shooting incident.
The lady who tried to rescue the priest also sustained injuries. They both are admitted to DMC, Ludhiana.
