In the current season, Manoj Bajpayee reprises his role as Srikant Tiwari, but this time he has a new job and is going to a relationship counselor with his wife to save their marriage. Srikant tries his hardest to be the titular guy in the first few minutes of the teaser until he develops FOMO (fear of missing out). Srikant was an intelligence officer of the National Intelligence Agency before changing jobs, as we saw him in the first season. A phone chat with a former colleague reminded him of the excitement and action he's losing out on, and we soon see him dealing with a terrorism case in Chennai.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who plays a terrorist named Raji in 'The Family Man 2', makes her digital debut in the sequel. She arrives in Chennai with terrorist outfit ISI and rebel commanders plotting to destroy the city. Raji is up against Srikant Tiwari and has only one motto: "I will kill them all."

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK created and directed the Family Man series. While Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, and Shreya Dhanwanthary will reprise their roles from the first season, Ravindra Vijay, Shahab Ali, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami, Vedant Sinha, and Mime Gopi are among the newcomers.

The Family Man 2 was planned to premiere in February, but owing to the pandemic, it was postponed. The second season's filming wrapped up in March. On June 4, The Family Man 2 will be available on Amazon Prime.
