Who is Indradhanush in The Night Manager?
The answer is Vikram Kapadia who plays the character Mr. Mitter in the South Block. Vikram Kapadia portrays the character of Mr Mitter who is posted in South Block and boss of RAW agents like Lipika and Danish. The revelation around Indradhanush takes place when Lipika and Danish went straight to Home Secretary informing her that a person from South Block is helping Shelly Rungta to run his illegal arms business. However, higher authorities in the PMO were aware of Shelly Rungta's illegal arms empire and his links with the South Block. Finally, Mr. Mitter confronts Lipika and Danish asking them why they have been chasing Shelly despite the fact he denied it to do so.
During that meeting, Mr. Mitter informs Lipika that he is Indradhanush and that the PMO is well aware of his link with Shelly Rungta. Mr. Mitter informs that Shelly is working for the Indian government as its proxy, and he is the link between the government and Rungta. Mitter further says that Shelly is working under the control of the Indian government as the government cannot support some rebel groups publically therefore people like Shelly Rungta come into play. However, Lipika reminds Mitter that even USA thought they can control Bin Laden, but ultimately the consequences were deadly for America.
