In one of the most historic day for Indian Cricket, team India on Tuesday defeated the mighty Australians in the fourth and final test. After defeating Australia at the Gabba, team India clinched the Border-Gavaskar trophy and also pierced the fortress of the Australian Cricket Team.
Australia was undefeated in Brisbane at the Gabba ground for the past 32 years. India won the four-match test series 2-1. This series saw the power and mental strength of Young Team India as most of the team's frontline players were ruled-out due to injury.
Hailing team India's performance, Sourav Ganguly announced a whopping bonus of Rs 5 crore for team India. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter and wrote, "Just a remarkable win...To go to Australia and win a test series in this way ..will be remembered in the history of indian cricket forever ..Bcci announces a 5 cr bonus for the team ..The value of this win is beyond any number ..well done to every member of the touring party."

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also confirmed this and wrote, "The @BCCI has announced INR 5 Crore as team bonus. These are special moments for India Cricket. An outstanding display of character and skill #TeamIndia #AUSvIND #Gabba."
