Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated India after Chandrayaan 3’s Vikram Lander successful landing on Moon’s south Pole.
PM Modi, who watched the landing live from Johannesburg, where he is currently participating in the BRICS summit, said: "I congratulate the ISRO team and scientists from the core of my heart for this accomplishment.
“Friends on this joyous occasion I would like to address all the people of the world, the people of every country and region, India successful moon mission is not just India’s alone.” said in his address to ISRO scientists.
“Our approach on one earth, one family, one future is resonating across the globe. This human centric approach we present had been welcomed universally.” he further added.
“Our moon mission is also based on the same human centric approach. Therefore, this success belongs to all of humanity. It will help moon mission by other countries in future.” Says PM Modi.
The Prime Minister further said: "Usually we would say, Chanda Maama Door Ke (Moon is far) but the future generation will say Chandra Maama Tour Ke (Moon is for a tour). Our mission is based on the same human-centric approach. This success belongs to humanity. I am confident all countries in the world are capable of achieving such feats."
