A massive crowd gathered to witness a Tiger basking in the sun on the walls of a Gurudwara in Uttar Pradesh. Yes! you heard it right. A Tiger who came out of the Tiger Reserve forest in Pilibhit district recently reached Atkona village in the night and continued to stay on the terrace of a Gurudwara. Now, the Tiger Atkona village video is doing rounds on social media and netizens are slamming the forest department and the locals of handling the situation in a bizarre manner.

In the UP Gurudwara Tiger video, 'Panthera tigris' can be seen peacefully basking in the sun after spending a chilly winder night on the terrace of the Gurudwara. Notably, to watch the tiger, hundreds of people can be seen surrounding it and keep on screaming. As seen in the video, the forest department has surrounded the tiger with a huge net and waiting for him to escape the area so that he can be rescued back to the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.

Notably, many social media users expressed their anger on how the locals and forest department are handling the situation. A user wrote, "What is needed is to leave the animal in peace and create an exit route and wait for it to go back to its habitat… but what is done is the opposite. One of the main reasons for conflict is non-existent crowd management.. and herd mentality. Only matter of time before the situation goes out of hand and the animal pays the price."

Another user wrote, "You have no idea about Pilibhit. I am from there.. Tiger with family sitting on road is common on the village roads. What normally happens is that both animal and people waits and then go to their respective habitats. The time between Diwali to Holi is common timelines."

One more user wrote, "It's winters...Tiger needs to soak in the sun...Let him have his peace, else he can provide Rest In Peace to those watching."

"Why do they make such a lot of noise, when it wants to rest?" wrote another user.
