Indian action fans have been regaled by veteran actor and heartthrob Hrithik Roshan who was seen playing the ultimate spy in the action thriller War in 2019. A part of the dharma production’s spy universe, War is set to be given the all too well know sequel treatment. The big change this time though is in the cast of the spy franchise. This is apparently being done to add a kick to the movie in the form of an ensemble cast of sorts.
Having secured the services of Ayan Mukherji, the celebrated director of Brahmastra: Shiva as the director, the producers of War-2 are set on bagging Jr. NTR next. Deemed as the first-choice replacement for Tiger Shroff, Jr. NTR is likely to play the antagonist in the second iteration of the hit action thriller franchise. Hritik Roshan is said to reprise his role as the protagonist and will be seen facing off against the star of the critically acclaimed south Indian movie RRR.
The producers are interested in Jr. NTR not only for his proven acting skills and star power but also because he brings a large south Indian audience with him which should catapult War-2 to greater box office success. Jr. NTR has also been in the news lately for starting another project with noted south Indian director Koratala Siva dubbed NTR 30. Anticipation for the movie is high among Jr. NTR fans as he has reunited with Koratala Siva for the first time after their previous outing in Janatha Garage. With the release for NTR 30 scheduled at the end of the year, Jr. NTR fans have much to look forward to.
