Tandav web-series and Amazon Prime Video have found themselves in legal trouble after people on social media slammed the makers and distributors for allegedly mocking Hindu Gods through its content. An FIR was filed at the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on Sunday night by senior sub-inspector Amarnath Yadav. The complaint also named Amazon Prime's India head of original content Aparna Purohit, producer Himanshu Krishna Mehra, and another unnamed person.
The FIR was also lodged against web-series 'Tandav' makers i.e. Ali Abbas Zafar and Gaurav Solanki, the director, and writer respectively. Apart from FIR, The Information and Broadcasting Ministry summoned Amazon Prime Video officials in India in connection with the controversy around the web series 'Tandav'.
Now, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has responded to the ongoing controversy in Tandav. Kangana took to Twitter and replied on the developments given by a Twitter user. She wrote, " Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Sheshupala.... pehle Shanti phir Kranti.... time to take their heads off... Jai Shri Krishan..."
