Actress-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan has been often the target of Muslim clerics who have lashed out at her for participating in Hindu rituals. The Trinamool Congress MP, however, has never paid attention to such comments.
In fact, whenever possible, Nusrat has spread the message of peace. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a few pictures of herself, showing off her painting skills. Sharing the pictures, Nusrat wrote, "Let's paint some peace." Clad in black T-shirt and pants, Nusrat is seen posing beside her craft.
