DGE Tamil Nadu will announce Class 12th board results today, official time for declaration is 11 am.

Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu would announce the result of class 12th board exams or HSE shortly. After the announcement, the students can check their results on the official websites – tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. They can also download their scorecards.  

According to the updates on the official website, the official time given by DGE Tamil Nadu is 11 am. The official statement read, “HSE (+2) 2020-2021 Results expected on 19th July 2021 @ 11:00 A.M.”

Due to Covid pandemic board exams of Class 12th were canceled therefore, the result would be based on the students’ previous performance in previous exams. The result would be prepared using the 50:20:30 formula. 

As per the evaluation scheme, 50 per cent marks would be the average of three-best exams of Class 10 board exams, 20 per cent marks would be given from Class 11th board exam (marks in each subject), and the remaining 30 per cent would be given based on Class 12th internal assessment and practical. 

If the students would be unsatisfied with the result then they can apply for written exams, which would be organized by the TN Board and the date of the same would be soon announced by the board.

How to check: 

To check your result, go to the official website of the board, and then follow the below-mentioned steps:

1.) Click to the link which would read ‘Tamil Nadu HSE result’.

2.) Enter all the required credentials like roll number, name etc.

3.) Click the ‘Submit’ button and your result would be displayed on the screen.

4.) Download the result. 

Once the result would be announced by the officials, links to the board websites would be activated, students can log in and check the result. 

It is expected that the result would be uploaded by some private websites but the board has urged the students to check their results from authenticated websites.
