On November 4, on the occasion of Diwali, Zomato shared an emotional message for its fans and followers, this special post was dedicated to the people who lost their lives during the horrifying second wave of Covid-19. 


The emotional post read, “To the homes that didn’t put up lights this year, where sweets have lost their taste for all, where the loss suffered at the start of the year is now making every occasion feel small. We know that it may be too soon to be happy, but we hope you find happiness again soon”.

This post has garnered a lot of love and respect from the netizens. The comment section was filled with emotional writing which would definitely make you teary-eyed. One of the netizens wrote, “Thank you Zomato. My mum lighted the lamps last year. 3 months later she was no more. Feeling lost.”
