The “toolkit document” related to farmers' protest was created and shared on social media by climate activist Disha Ravi, Shantanu and lawyer Nikita Jacob, Delhi Police said on Monday. Addressing the media in Delhi, Prem Nath, Joint CP (Cyber Cell), said that many screenshots of the toolkit were available on open source and were investigated, claiming that Disha Ravi had sent the “toolkit” to Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg via telegram app. Nath also stated that Disha had deleted a WhatsApp group she created to spread the “toolkit”.
Nath said after getting enough information, a search warrant was obtained from the court on February 9 against Nikita Jacob, one of the editors of the toolkit, also a lawyer and search was done at Nikita’s house on 11 February.
"She (Nikita) and her associates Shantanu and Disha Ravi had created the document. The email account created by Shantanu is the owner of this document and all others are its editors," the cop said.
Earlier today, non-bailable warrants were issued against Jacob and Shantanu for their alleged involvement in the toolkit document case. On Disha Ravi’s arrest, Nath said she was taken into custody in her mother's area SHO presence and that all concerned procedures were followed.
Disha Ravi sent the toolkit to Greta Thunberg
Disha Ravi had sent the “toolkit” to Greta Thunberg - the teen climate activist through the Telegram app said, Nath. "Disha, Shantanu and Nikita created and edited the toolkit. Disha sent the toolkit to Greta Thunberg through the Telegram app. Disha deleted a WhatsApp group which she created to spread the toolkit", he said.
Nath claimed that Nikita and Shantanu attended a zoom meeting organised by ''pro-khalistani'' group Poetic Justice Foundation (PJF) and added that Jacob was also one of the editors of the "toolkit" document. Nikita was contacted by Mo Dhaliwal who is the founder of the Khalitani organisation.
The Joint CP further stated, “A woman named Puneet who is based in Canada connected these people to the Pro-Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation. On January 11, Nikita and Shantanu attended a Zoom meeting organised by Poetic Justice Foundation in which modalities were chalked out.”
There is a deeper conspiracy linked with the toolkit document and their main plan was to tarnish India’s image globally, said Nath. He also said that fake news of a farmer being killed by a police’s bullet on Republic Day was also circulated on social media. The WhatsApp group was created by Disha on December 6, 2020, to spread the 'toolkit', which has been deleted.

Social media was taken by stir after Greta Thunberg shared a toolkit document on Twitter to extend her support to the protesting Indian farmers who have been demanding a repeal of the three farm laws. In the document, various urgent actions, including creating a Twitter storm and protesting outside Indian embassies, were listed which were needed to be taken to support the farmers'' protest. The toolkit has been cited by some critics as a "proof" of her conspiracy to fuel protests in India.
