More than Rs 100 crore earning: The entertainment business has grown manifold ever since the theatres were open to the public after the Corona pandemic. There was a time when films that entered the Rs. 100 crore club were considered blockbusters, but now the figure of Rs 500 crores and 1000 crores also seems very small.
A total of 10 films have earned more than Rs 100 crore this year. Of these, 7 are South Indian films, while 3 are Bollywood films.

It is believed that due to the rise of OTT platforms, moviegoers now avoid going to the theatres unless something unique happens. The Hollywood movies like Avengers Top Gun or Jurassic World Dominion might make sense, but tried-and-tested formula movies no longer work. However, if the film has a unique element for the audience, then the audience flocks to the theatres to watch the film.
