The remake of Tom Cruise’s 1986 classical hit TOP GUN, TOP GUN: Maverick after a grand hit theatrical outing is all set to hit on the web space for its huge Indian fanbase in multiple languages. A Paramount Pictures production has earned huge accolades among critics and fans for the plotting and direction and moreover the cult of Tom Cruise who seemed in his best form as he is perfectly “aging like a fine wine.”
The movie will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on December 26th, the information about which was revealed by Prime Video on its official Twitter page. The tweet read, "All set to take off on a new adventure and a nostalgia ride like never before. #TopGunMaverickOnPrime, Dec 26," the streamer said in the tweet.
The huge success of Tom Cruise-led Top Gun: Maverick not just made a grand hit in theatres but rather went on to become the 12th Biggest Movie of All Time.
The action spectacle is set over 30 years after the events of Tony Scott-directed Top Gun and sees Maverick training a group of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission.
The follow-up features Cruise reprising his role as US Naval aviator Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell along with Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis with Ed Harris and Val Kilmer among other crucial casts of the movie.

Joseph Kosinski’s directorial, Top Gun: Maverick is touted as the highest-grossing film of 2022, with total earnings reported to stand at $1.488 billion (roughly Rs. 12,500 crores) worldwide.
In terms of box-office collections, it was reported to be the 12th biggest movie of all time. It also received numerous accolades, including nominations for the Golden Globe Award for a best motion picture — drama and the Critics' Choice Movie Award for best picture.
The film was earlier made available to purchase or rent online on Amazon Prime Video but will stream for its subscribers from the 26th of this month, the movie was released on May 27th, earlier this year in cinemas worldwide.
