Jalandhar: In light of the annual Shri Siddh Baba Sodal Mela scheduled to be held at the local Shri Sodal Mandir until September 29, 2023, the Traffic Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, has released revised routes and parking arrangements for the convenience of devotees and the general public.
New Route Plan: The traffic management and district administration, with guidance from Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal, have devised a systematic traffic plan to ensure hassle-free movement for devotees and the general public visiting the Mela. The changes in routes and parking areas are as follows:
• Doaba Chowk
• Tanda Chowk
• Chandan Nagar Railway Crossing
• New Vegetable Market Industrial Area
• Ram Nagar Phatak
• Railway Crossing Tanda road
• Gaggu Gillan Chowk

• Pathankot Chowk
Light vehicles, however, will be allowed to park at both sides of the road leading from Doaba Chowk to Devi Talab Mandir’s two-sided park.
Devotees and the general public are urged to use the altered routes and parking facilities mentioned above instead of the regular routes and market roads until September 29, 2023, during the Shri Siddh Baba Sodal Mela. This will help ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize inconvenience.
