On Friday morning, a school bus was hit by a truck from behind in the Dasuha sub-division of Hoshiarpur. A student died in the accident. The deceased was a resident of Harman village Lodhi Chak Tanda. Along with a student, the bus conductor also died. Conductor Chandan Veer was a resident of Masitpalkot Tanda.
At the time of the accident, there were 40 students on the bus, and 13 of them were injured and brought to the hospital for treatment. People present on the road ran and pulled out the frightened children.

According to information, the bus of St. Paul Convent School Dasuha was going to school after picking up children from different villages. The bus was hit by a speeding truck coming from behind as it approached the Reliance gas station that was a short distance from the school.
