New Delhi: Supreme Court on Friday said that the trial against senior BJP leaders- LK Avani, Dr. MM Joshi, and many others for their alleged involvement in the criminal conspiracy in the demolition of Babri Mosque to be completed within nine months from today (Friday).
A division bench of the apex court, led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, said and directed for extension of tenure of the Special CBI Judge of Lucknow trial court, SK Yadav, who is hearing the case.
The trial court judge had in a letter addressed to the Supreme Court judges had sought another six months to complete the trial in the case.

He in his letter stated that he would be retiring on September 30, 2019, and thereby needed more time.
The top court asked the trial court judge to complete the evidence in six months. "Oral arguments be kept bare minimum," it added.
The trial is going on in the Lucknow Court against Advani, Joshi and many others for their involvement and criminal conspiracy in the alleged demolition of the Babri Mosque demolition case.
