Gangster Fateh, who was taken into custody after being released from prison, admitted that he set up the shooters at the request of Snavar Dhillon, who was in Canada, together with the help of Amit Dagar, Kaushal Chaudhary, Jagjit Singh, Lucky Patial, and Sukha Duneke. Simranjit alias Jujhar gave the shooters a hiding place at his relative Swaran Singh's home in Pritam Enclave, Amritsar, at Duneke's request. From Swaran's home, police had found 12 bore rifles and 18 live cartridges. In the case, Swaran Singh’s name has also been mentioned.
The Ontario National Kabaddi Federation was founded by Snavar Dhillon. He invited the athletes to join his organization, but the majority of the notable athletes were linked to Sandeep Nangal's "Major League Kabaddi.” Sandeep was also invited by Snavar to join his league, but he declined his offer.
Fateh revealed under questioning that Snavar also pushed some players to join the federation even though nobody was ready. The Dhillon federation was destroyed as a result. Snavar could not stand the Federation's failure. In this animosity, he plotted to murder Sandeep Ambian alongside Jagjit Gandhi and Sukhwinder Sukha.
Snavar Dhillon was born and raised in Amritsar, but he has just moved to Brampton, Ontario, in Canada. He is the creator and director of a Canadian radio and television program. Sukhwinder Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke or Sukh Singh, resides in the Moga village of Duneke. He has also lived in Canada for a couple of years. The third Jagjit Singh, often known as Gandhi, hails from Dehlon, Ludhiana. Gandhi currently resides in Malaysia.
