The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) has objected to the hoisting of the tricolor at Gurdwara Sahib in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. SGPC Principal Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has ordered an inquiry into the matter citing Sikh dignity. A photograph of Gurdwara Imli Sahib with a tricolor on its roof went viral on social media at the start of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, there is a renowned Gurdwara Imli Sahib connected to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, according to SGPC Principal Advocate Dhami. A picture of the tricolor being hoisted at Gurdwara Imli Sahib was discovered by the SGPC. He strongly condemned this action. According to him, only the Nishan Sahib of the Khalsa is permitted to be hoisted in this revered Gurdwara Sahib connected to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The Gurudwara management or administration, whoever made this error, is accountable for this incident, according to SGPC head Dhami. He has promptly ordered an investigation into the matter. He said that further action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this investigation.
