The world lost a dancing gem on Sunday. Popular South Indian choreographer Shiva Shankar breathed his last due to Covid-related complications. Shiva Shankar was taken to a Hyderabad hospital's intensive care unit after testing positive for coronavirus, where he passed yesterday. He was 72-year-old.
Many film celebrities mourned the demise of National Award-winning choreographer Shiva Shankar Master.
Sonu Sood, who is always ready to help, was always there to help the family during the crisis. Dhanush, the actor-turned-filmmaker, also lent a hand. He took Twitter to pay tribute and wrote, “Heartbroken to hear about the demise of Shiv Shankar masterji. Tried our best to save him but God had different plans. Will always miss you masterji. May almighty give strength to the family to bear this loss. Cinema will always miss u sir (with a heartbreak emoticon).”

Ace film director SS Rajamouli tweeted, “Sad to know that renowned choreographer Shiva Shankar Master garu has passed away. Working with him for Magadheera was a memorable experience. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to his family.”
Actor Kajal Aggarwal also paid heartfelt condolences and wrote, “So sad to hear of #ShivaShankarMaster garu’s demise worked with him in MagaDheera and Nene raju nene mantri… heartfelt condolences to his family... Om Shanti”

For the blockbuster film Magadheera, Shiva Shankar won the ‘Best Choreography Award’. He choreographed the song “Dheera Dheera” for SS Rajamouli's award-winning film, which stars Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal in the key roles.
Along with him, his eldest son got infected with COVID-19.
