The team of district administration and NDRF are engaged in relief and rescue work with mutual coordination to bring down the tourists trapped in the ropeway of Trikuti Mountain in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The rescue was started again with the help of MI-17 helicopter at 12 noon on Monday. In all, 22 pilgrims were rescued in the last 21 hours. So far two people have died.

The Air Force helicopter arrived at around 6.30 am. Commandos are also present in it. The helicopter did an aerial survey before commencing the operation. A plan was prepared to bring down the people trapped in the trolley stuck in the air.
Those trapped in the accident have been identified as Amit Kumar, Khushboo Kumari, Jaya Kumari, Chhathi Lal Shah, Duty Ram, Veer Kumar, Naman, Abhishek, Dheeraj of Bhagalpur, Kaushalya Devi, Annu Kumari, Tanu Kumari, Dimple Kumar and the driver of the vehicle. , Malda as Putul Sharma, Sudhir Dutta, Saurav Das, Namita, Vinay Das.
Late night, an attempt was made to deliver food packets to the people trapped in the cabin. The NDRF team tried to throw the packet from the open trolley in the cabin.
