In Haqiqat Nagar Haibowal area of Ludhiana, a man first shot his wife and mother-in-law at around 6 am due to a domestic dispute and then boarded an Activa and came to Noormahil. At around 7 in the morning, a young man was shot dead. The accused was identified as Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Lohara Police Station, Sadar Jalandhar, who is currently living in a rented house in Patel Nagar, Ludhiana.
Jaswinder Singh allegedly shot his wife Jaspreet Kaur in the face in Patel Nagar during a domestic dispute on Tuesday morning. The accused then went straight to his father-in-law's house in Haqiqat Nagar and shot his mother-in-law Vandana in the throat. Jaspreet Kaur and Vandana were rushed to Dayanand Hospital in critical condition where their condition remains critical.
After committing these two incidents, Jaswinder Singh got into a scooter and reached Noormahal town of Jalandhar where he went to the house of a youth living in Mohalla Khatik and shot him in the head. He died on the spot. After the incident, Jaswinder Singh also fled. The deceased has been identified as Rohit's son Lubhaya Ram. The incident was captured on CCTV, from which police identified the accused.
The miscreant came on a white colored Activa. He knocked on the gate and then went inside and opened fire on Rohit. When his first fire was missed, he shot for the second time and killed Rohit. After this the killer escaped from there sitting on the same Activa. The police have sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem.

On coming to know about this, Jalandhar Rural Police and Ludhiana Commissionerate Police have started searching for the accused Jaswinder. Confirming this, Jalandhar Rural SSP Naveen Singla said that the accused are being searched by forming special teams. The police have also got the record of his Activa number PB08CH1923.
