Allahbadia has resumed his podcast, The Ranveer Show,' following a period of public controversy. Content creator and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has resumed his podcast, 'The Ranveer Show,' following a period of public controversy.
On March 30, Allahbadia posted a video named "Let's Talk" on his YouTube channel, providing an honest insight into his period of absence from content creation and the problems he has encountered since the controversy over the 'India's Got Latent' show.
Throughout the video, Allahbadia thanked supporters who remained with him during this challenging period.
"Namaste friends, I would first like to say thank you to all the supporters and all the well-wishers. Your good wishes made me and my family feel very much better because this period was quite tough," he said.
The influencer also thanked the overflow of support from his family, friends, and colleagues, including some big-shot figures who got in touch with him during the crisis.
In this video Allahbadia looked back on the time of forced break, which he said was a learning and growing opportunity. "I have posted two to three videos a week for the past 10 years without a break. I had a forced break. Learned to live with patience," he added.
He also shared that meditation, sadhana, and prayer allowed him to regain his mental well-being during that time.
He underscored that, in the future, he would be more responsible with his platform, particularly considering his great influence on young audiences.
In spite of the controversy, Allahbadia was optimistic about the future. "In the next 10, 20, 30 years, as long as I make content, I will make content with more responsibility. This is my promise to you," he stated.
He also talked about his great enthusiasm for content creation, especially podcasting, and his dedication to creating good-quality content that delves into the rich history and culture of India.
The video ended with the assurance of a new Ranveer" as he begins this next chapter in his life.
"Since this full stop, I am attempting to start a new chapter. Hope you all of you, my entire team, endorse me on this new chapter," he expressed, and he added, "On this TRS rejuvenating stage, to all those who supported us hitherto, I have a request only. Please spare room for me in your heart if at all. One chance is more than sufficient."
He also hoped that 'The Ranveer Show' would keep inspiring change and improve the quality of discussion in the nation.
Controversy over the 'India's Got Latent' show, which went on air earlier this year, set the country ablaze with hot debate following explicit and inappropriate material that is said to have been roundly condemned.
On March 7, Allahbadia was summoned by the Crime Branch of the Guwahati Police Commissionerate as part of an ongoing inquiry into the show, which generated a storm of legal and public outrage.
The Guwahati Police lodged an FIR on February 10, alleging that a number of high-profile influencers, including Allahbadia, had been involved in promoting obscenity by taking part in the controversial show
FIR caused concern regarding indecent representation of women and other objectionable matter, prompting charges under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Cinematograph Act.
Taking responsibility, Allahbadia previously accepted his error on the show, specifically a comment he made that garnered heavy criticism
My moment was not only inappropriate I wasn't even funny. I am not a comedian. I am here to apologize," he had said in an earlier apology video.
Allahbadia's comeback to content creation follows the Supreme Court's ruling that allowed him to restart his podcast, though with strict rules to ensure that subsequent content meets decency and morality standards.
