A man married two women, who are cousins, at the same wedding ceremony in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district. Dileep, the groom, was already married to his wife Vinita before he married his sister-in-law Rachna. Vinita is the sarpanch of Gudavali village in Bhind district's Mehgaon.
Dileep and Vinita married nine-years ago and have three children.
According to Dileep, his first wife Vinita was okay with his second marriage to her cousin sister Rachna. He said he married his wife once again along with her cousin Rachna at the ceremony as she said she "was not well" and wanted someone to take care of their three children.
At the wedding ceremony, Dileep exchanged garlands with both Vineeta and Rachna.
