According to reports, MMA star Jon Jones was detained on Friday and accused with assault domestic violence, hurting and tampering with a vehicle.
Police in Las Vegas detained Jones early Friday morning. He is now being detained on $8,000 bail. According to reports Jones has been placed on a 12-hour hold. Jones was detained about 5:45 a.m.

Jones is in Las Vegas for his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame following his fight against Alexander Gustafsson in 2013.

Jones was arrested in 2019 for suspected assault. Slapping, choking, kissing, and touching a waitress were among the charges levelled against him. Jones filed a not guilty plea to the allegation. In 2012, he was arrested for DUI, and in 2020, he was arrested for DWI. In both cases, Jones pled guilty. Jones surrendered to authorities in 2015 after being charged with a hit-and-run.
Throughout his UFC career, he's also been suspended many times for alleged doping violations.
