Ukraine claims its forces have killed more than 800 Russian soldiers. 30 Russian tanks and 7 spy aircraft have also been destroyed. The Ukrainian government has banned men between the ages of 18 and 60 from leaving the country. It is being said in some reports that Ukraine has given rifles to its 10,000 citizens for combat.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has told journalists that Denmark will accept refugees fleeing from Ukraine.

Frederiksen also pledged humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its neighbours, Xinhua news agency reported.

And then the refugee flows can enter Europe, which Denmark will facilitate," Frederiksen explained while speaking to journalists on Thursday.
