Team India on late Thursday night scripted history after it qualified for the T20 World Cup final after 10 years. Rohit Sharma & Co defeated the Jos Buttler-led squad by a massive 68 runs at Providence Stadium, Guyana. The Men In Blue avenged the semi-final loss that was handed by England in the 2022 T20 World Cup.  For Team India, it was again the 'Rohit Sharma Show and support from batters like Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya. While there were many unforgettable moments during the INDvsENG semi-final match, Rohit Sharma's voice caught on the stump mic became a viral moment of T20 World Cup 2024. 

As a result, Rohit Sharma's video went viral in no time and fans termed it was 'Chad Rohit Sharma moment'. In the viral clip, Rohit Sharma can be seen facing Liam Livingstone. At first, Rohit tried to reverse sweep Livingstone but failed to do that. Then, Suryakumar Yadav advises something to the Indian Captain. On this, Rohit Sharma's voice was caught on the stump mic saying, "Upar Dega Toh Deta Hun Na (If he bowls full, I will hit him for six)". 

Notably, on the very next ball, Rohit Sharma smashed Livingstone for six when bowled a fuller-length ball. This impressed Suryakumar Yadav who went straight to the Indian captain to appreciate him. Even the commentators said, "Vaade Ke Pakke Hain Rohit (Rohit always fulfills his promise)."

Indian Captain Rohit Sharma smashed 57 runs off 39 balls with the help of six boundaries and two sixes. Apart from Rohit, SKY played a crucial knock of 47 off 36. Other players- Hardik Pandya (23), Ravindra Jadeja (17) and Axar Patel (10) helped the Men In Blue post a total of 171 runs on a difficult wicket that was helping the spinners and even the fast bowlers.
