Detailed Application Form (DAF) has been released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on it's the website. This form is for those candidates who successfully passed the civil services preliminary examination 2020.
Candidates who have qualified the UPSC preliminary examination 2020 can fill in the application form for the UPSC Civil Services Mains examination online at upsconline.nic.in.
Candidates who have qualified the prelims and wish to take admission to the Civil Services Main examination must apply online through the Commission’s website by filling the DAF.
Qualifying candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents until November 11, 2020, 6 pm.
UPSC Civil Services Main exam is scheduled to. Be held from January 8, 2021, at various centres spread across the country. However, the Commission is yet to declare the detailed examination schedule. The schedule will be made available on the commission’s official website.
The UPSC Civil Services Main examination will be held in 24 cities across the country.
The following centres:- Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada.

The Civil Services examination is carried in two stages:-
1) Preliminary (objective type)
2) Civil Services (Main) examination (written and interview) to select candidates for the various posts.
