Recently the United States of America decided to curb travel rules for vaccinated foreigners from November 2021. The announcements have been made in the White House to revoke the Covid restrictions for vaccinated travellers from 33 countries including Schengen countries France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Greece, as well as Britain, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran and Brazil. For the past 14 days U.S. restrictions have barred non-U.S. citizens.
The US is going to accept vaccinated Indians without quarantine from November 8, if a negative Covid test result is also shown as per the statement of Indiver Rastogi, president and group head (global business travel) Thomas Cook India.
“The rules green-list only a few countries while vaccinated people from the rest are considered unvaccinated even if they have been injected with the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab,” said Jeffrey Zients.
As per the air bubble arrangement between India and the US international passenger flights can be operated into each other's territories subject to certain conditions, currently, India has air bubble arrangements with 28 countries.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated that it would accept any vaccine authorized for use by US regulators or the World Health Organization and will accept mixed-dose coronavirus vaccines from travelers.
CDC will soon bring new contact tracing rules requiring airlines to collect information from international air passengers as foreign air travelers would be obliged to provide a certification of vaccination to confirm that the last dose must be at least two weeks earlier than the travel date.
Travel restrictions were imposed on May 4 during the second wave of the Covid pandemic that meant tourists earlier had to spend 2 weeks outside India in order to gain entry into the US however US citizens and permanent residents were exempted from these restrictions except students who were allowed take direct entry because of their session on in August.

November-December is considered as the peak season for Indian travel from the US. So, a rush can be expected this year.
