Two police officers from phoenix sustained bullet injuries during a late-night shootout in north phoenix.
The police informed the media about the incident saying the shootout took place near 26th Ave and Deer Valley which happened in the retaliatory response of the officers to a report of a shooting at the Days Inn just west of Interstate 17.
The Phoenix-based police officers are undergoing treatment in the hospital and officials have confirmed that they are in a stable state now.
The police have launched an investigation into the matter, however, no arrests have yet been made against the suspects.

The heavy deployment of force has led to the closure of the Deer Valley Road offramp and Pinnacle frontage road, and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
