On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the residents of Uttarakhand on the 21st formation day of the state. He further said that he is sure that the entire decade would belong to the people of Uttarakhand as the state has made brilliant progress in the last five years.
PM Modi took Twitter and wrote (in Hindi), “My warm greetings to all my brothers and sisters of Devbhoomi on the foundation day of Uttarakhand. With the progress made by the state in the last five years, I am sure that this entire decade is going to belong to Uttarakhand.”

He further wrote that he is glad that the state is utilizing its youth properly and would continue doing so. His tweet read, “The development work that has been done in Uttarakhand is proof that now both the water of the mountain and the youth are being used here. I wish that this state, which is situated in the lap of nature, should continue on the path of development.”
The beautiful state – Uttarakhand was made on November 9, 2000, by craving the north-eastern region of Uttar Pradesh.
The state is also known as the “Devbhoomi (Land of Gods)” because of its abundant natural resources, which include glaciers, rivers, lush forests, and snow-capped mountain peaks. Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamnotri are the four most important and respected Hindu temples in Uttarakhand, together known as the Char Dham. Dehradun is the state’s capital.
