The demand to connect various railway stations of India with Vande Bharat Express Train is rising. Representatives of constituencies like MPs & MLAs are promising to bring Vande Bharat Express in their city with the people. Vande Bharat Express Train is a premium project of Indian Railways made under PM Modi's Make In India initiative. Famous for high speed and quality services, Vande Bharat Trains run in many states. However, some places are yet to get its services. Now, people of Bihar can brighten their smile as the Vande Bharat Bihar Train is again in discussions.
Vande Bharat Samastipur and Patliputra Routes
To improve railway facilities and passenger services, a meeting of the Sonpur Division Parliamentary Committee was held on Wednesday. MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy chaired the meeting. Various problems related to railways and their solutions were discussed in the meeting.
As per Jagran, MP Ramnath Thakur raised the issue of providing more facilities to the Samastipur district by the railways. He suggested that a Vande Bharat Express train should run from Barauni to New Delhi via Samastipur-Pataliputra.
Along with this, a proposal to include Khudiram Bose, Pusa, and Karpurigram railway stations under the Sonpur division in the Samastipur Railway Division is also sent to the Railway Board.
Apart from this, a proposal was made to run the Patna-Ahmedabad Express (12947/48) via Samastipur from Barauni two days a week and the Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Garib Rath (12211/12) from Samastipur daily.
He stressed stopping Maurya Express (15027/28), Tata-Thawe Express (18181/82), Muzaffarpur-Bhagalpur Intercity Express (13419/20), and Jaynagar Intercity Express (13225/26) at Karpurigram Railway Station. In the meeting, Shiv Kumar, representative of Union Minister Nityanand Rai, raised many important issues.
MP Shambhavi made many important demands regarding improvement in railway facilities and passenger services. She also proposed the construction of ROB (rail over bridge) at gate number 66 of the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section and the development of the Karpurigram railway station as a terminal with beautification.
