The matter was recently raised by Congress MP Rakibul Hussain in Lok Sabha, who directly questioned Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and asked him about the government's plans to lower the fares of this special train.

What is the current ticket price of Vande Bharat?
The Vande Bharat Express ticket price from Amritsar to Delhi varies based on the coach class. For the Chair Car (CC) class, the fare is approximately Rs 976, while the Executive Class (EC) fare is around Rs 1956. For the New Delhi to Patna route, the AC Chair Car costs Rs 2,575, while the Executive Chair Car is Rs 4,655. It means the price of Vande Bharat is generally determined by the route you are travelling on.
